"Wilcote chantry, St Mary's, Northleigh. This chantry was founded around the middle of the fifteenth century and is located to the north of the chancel being an extension of the nave north aisle. The chapel has an impressive fan vault (unique to the churches of the county) and alabaster tomb effigies of Lady Elizabeth Wilcote and husband, William. The arcade through to the chancel consists of an elaborate ogee arch decorated with carved angels with shields."
